I have spent a fair amount of time in the experiential world of Jewish education; through Jewish summer camps, educational trips, youth group, and, even, in the supplementary programs that I have run, how my students/campers/teens experience their Judaism has been a driving factor for me. Immersing myself in Israel Education, over the last two years, has allowed me to consider deeply how my students/campers/teens experience Israel as a part of their Judaism. Time and time again, I am drawn to a view of Israel that allows for an ideal AND a real Israel. The academic works below speak to this complex vision of Israel Education.

David Steps into Goliath’s Shoes
The Intertwined Moral, Democratic, Political Classroom
